Integration offers new, passive monitoring for threat detection and enhanced asset discovery capabilities

Foxborough, Massachusetts and San Francisco, California, December 12, 2017 – Leidos (NYSE: LDOS), a FORTUNE 500 science, engineering, and information technology company and Nozomi Networks, the pioneer in real-time cybersecurity and operational visibility for industrial control systems (ICS), announced today that Leidos has partnered to integrate with Nozomi Networks’ passive monitoring capabilities for its Industrial Defender Automation Systems Manager® (ASM) solution for industrial control systems networks. Leidos customers will immediately gain enhanced cybersecurity for Industrial and Critical Infrastructure networks by integrating the passive monitoring and continuous threat detection capabilities of Nozomi Networks’ SCADAguardian™ solution. The offering will be available through resale by Leidos to both current and future ASM customers.

“Partnering with Nozomi Networks gives our customers access to enhanced passive monitor technology that provides the visibility and detection customers need amid escalating threats to critical infrastructure operations,” said Leidos Cyber, Inc. President, Robert Meindl. “With a deep heritage and pedigree, Leidos Cyber is committed to staying on the forefront of technologies and services that will help our customers to protect, defend, and prevail against cyber threats.”

The integrated Leidos and Nozomi Networks’ solution adds ICS intrusion detection and passive asset discovery and monitoring to Leidos’ Industrial Defender ASM. This strengthens the ASM’s ability to safely identify operational technology network assets and adds cutting-edge detection capabilities.

Designed and built from the ground up to ensure the safe and reliable operation of control systems, Industrial Defender ASM offers applications specifically engineered to address the overlapping requirements of cybersecurity, compliance, and change management in one solution. Nozomi Networks’ SCADAguardian integrates to automatically identify industrial assets and network activity, as well as provide real-time monitoring of cybersecurity and process anomalies. Complete integration means that alerts and incidents identified are correlated into meaningful incidents and communicated to the Industrial Defender ASM management infrastructure.

“Leidos has hundreds of industrial customers around the world – many with immediate and long term needs for enhanced protection against advanced ICS security threats,” said Nozomi Networks’ CEO, Edgard Capdevielle. “We are proud to work with Leidos to provide the deep expertise and operational technology (OT) that these customers require.”
