Edgard Capdevielle

Edgard Capdevielle

President and Chief Executive Officer

Edgard brings an extensive background in successfully managing and expanding markets for both start-ups and established technology companies to his role as CEO. Previously he was Vice President of Product Management and Marketing for Imperva, where he led teams that made the company’s web and data security products leaders in their space. Prior to that he was a key executive at storage companies Data Domain and EMC.

Focused on developing Nozomi’s global business, Edgard’s tremendous passion, energy, vision and drive-to-win is being brought to bear on guiding Nozomi to its next stage of development. Edgard has a MBA from the University of California at Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Andrea Carcano

Andrea Carcano

Founder and Chief Product Officer

Andrea is an expert and international leader in industrial network security, artificial intelligence and machine learning. He co-founded Nozomi Networks in 2013 with the goal of delivering a next generation cybersecurity and operational visibility solution for industrial control networks.

As Chief Product Officer Andrea defines the vision for Nozomi’s products and is the voice of the customer within the organization. In this role he draws on his real-world experience as a senior security engineer with Eni, a multinational oil and gas company, as well as his academic research.

With a passion for cybersecurity that began in high school, Andrea went on to study the unique challenges of securing industrial control systems. His Ph.D. in Computer Science from Università degli Studi dell’Insubria focused on developing software that detected intrusions to critical infrastructure control systems. His Masters in Computer Science from the same institution involved creating malware designed to take advantage of the lack of security in some SCADA protocols and analyzing the consequences.

Andrea has published a number of academic papers, including one describing an early example of malware targeting SCADA systems.

Moreno Carullo

Moreno Carullo

Founder and Chief Technical Officer

Moreno earned a Ph.D. in artificial intelligence and brings a wealth of experience in building intelligent, self-adaptive systems to the company.

As the manager of Nozomi’s software development team, Moreno approaches his work with a love for coaching others and a high focus on product quality and flexibility. He previously worked at 7Pixel (formerly part of Ricardo.ch AG) as technical manager of the development teams and technical advisor to the CTO.

An active member of the IEC TC57 WG15 subcommittee, Moreno is contributing to improving the cybersecurity of power systems. In particular, in this group he is addressing the monitoring aspects of end-to-end encrypted industrial communications.

Kim delivers deep knowledge of our market with over a decade of industrial cybersecurity marketing. She shares the company’s mission of arming critical infrastructure organization against global threats.

As a proven marketing leader, Kim thrives on the challenge of transforming technology innovators into market leaders. Prior to joining the Nozomi Networks executive team, Kim served as Vice President of Marketing for Industrial Defender, a pioneer of industrial control system cybersecurity that was acquired by Lockheed Martin. As an early proponent of cybersecurity technologies, she’s held senior marketing roles with Symantec, Core Security, and Cybereason.

Kim holds a B.S. in Industrial Management from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.B.A from Nijenrode, The Netherlands School of Business.

Chet Namboodri

Chet Namboodri

VP – Alliances & Business Development

Chet brings passion – along with the wisdom of extensive industrial-sector experience and a win-win approach – to the development and leadership of alliances, partnerships and channels for Nozomi Networks.

Prior to Nozomi Networks, he directed sales, business development and marketing teams at Cisco Systems to achieve worldwide market leadership for industrial networking within the manufacturing sector.

Chet previously led growth, share and profitability for P&Ls within GE’s industrial, power, lighting and controls businesses. At GE, he was recognized by peers for outstanding manufacturing technology leadership and value chain management excellence.

Chet has earned a Master’s from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University.
